Halalmap is a place to respectfully share halal places and Muslim daily-life information. These rules support safe, useful contributions.

Scope
These rules cover community posts, comments, replies and attached photos. Public place reviews also follow our standards for rights and safety and our text-checking process.
Permitted information sharing
You may share unpaid halal place recommendations, genuine visit reviews, Islamic daily-life, prayer and travel information, and related questions and answers. Respect other beliefs and cultures. Advertising, purchase inducements or conflict disguised as ordinary information are not allowed.
Prohibited conduct
No political propaganda, election campaigning or political/social conflict incitement
Do not promote political parties, candidates or ideologies, campaign for elections or provoke political and social confrontation. Respectful religious and daily-life information is welcome when it does not attack others or stir conflict.
No commercial ads, disguised reviews, referral income links or sales/purchase inducements
Do not post reviews disguised as independent users when acting for a seller, paid promotions, revenue-generating referral codes or links, or content soliciting trades or purchases. Unpaid accounts of real experiences and place information are welcome.
No illegal intimate recordings, non-consensual sexual synthetic media or child sexual exploitation material
Do not post, share or request non-consensual intimate recordings, sexual media created or altered without consent, or child sexual exploitation material. Links or assistance distributing such material are also prohibited.
No unauthorized personal data disclosure, impersonation, copyright/image-rights infringement or harassment
Do not expose another person’s contact details, address or other personal information without permission, or impersonate a person or operator. Unauthorized copyrighted content or images, repeated harassment, threats and insults are prohibited.
No encouragement of crime, illegal trading, pornography or sexual insults
Do not assist crimes, trade illegal goods or services, commit fraud or phishing, or post pornography or sexually humiliating material.
No profanity, disparagement, discrimination, hate or encouragement of suicide, self-harm or violence
Do not disparage or encourage discrimination or hatred based on religion, sect, nationality, race, gender, disability or similar traits. Suicide, self-harm and violence instructions, encouragement and glorification are prohibited; seeking help and sharing safe support resources are allowed.
No spam, deliberate deceptive information, report/like manipulation or service disruption
Do not flood the service with repeated posts, deliberately deceive users with false information, manipulate reports or likes, share malicious links, exploit system weaknesses or otherwise disrupt the service.
Automated checks and publication
At signup you agree to the community rules and sending published text to OpenAI for safety checks. Text in posts, comments, replies and place reviews is checked before publication and may include personal information you type. Photos are not inspected or sent to OpenAI. Flagged text is held for administrator review; service failures wait and retry. Pending edits do not replace the public version. Withdrawal stops new submissions and external transmission of unsent work. Posting again requires renewed permission; old held work is not automatically resumed.
Reports and enforcement
Use the report action on a post or comment if you suspect a violation. Blocking hides that author’s posts and comments from your view and can be reversed in Me. Moderators review flagged content and reports and may remove violating content. We aim to respond within 24 hours; this is not a guaranteed deadline.

Contact info@halalmap.org about rule application or content decisions. When rules change, we update this page and its effective date. A new acceptance version requires confirmation before your next submission.
